There’s no such thing as a short cut when it comes to doing the job right. :
Is your laptop running hot? Is it burning your leg all the time?
Don’t ignore this as it indicates there is a bigger problem….
The cpu heatsink will in a laptop naturally get blocked after a period of time and will need to be cleaned out.
The ONLY way to clean a cpu fan properly is to dismantle the laptop and extract the fluff manually.
Blowing into the heatsink which may seem like a really clever way of cleaning the fan is actually dangerous and you run the greater risk of blocking the cpu fan as shown here is this picture and overheating the laptop cpu.
The next thing that happens is it goes “poof!!” and you end up blowing up the cpu or even worse the laptop motherboard.
Regular maintenance is the key here guys, once every year or so, bring it in and get it looked at properly.
It’s just a thought…
