From out of nowhere:
It’s an all too often, common tale when customers come in and tell us, “so, all of a sudden this program appeared out of nowhere. I have no idea where it came from and I didn’t want it installed. Where did it come from?”
Yeh it’s an annoyance we can all do without. Let’s face it, Computers can be confusing at the best of times, without this sort of thing going on as well.
Hopefully this post should help you guys be more able to recognise where all these “extra” programs come from.
What seems to be an innocent Adobe acrobat reader “update”, proves to be nothing more than “more than you bargained for”.
Watch out for those extra little “ticks”, they come pre-selected which means that before you know it you’ll have two programs being installed instead of one.
